Proudly Passing Guilt From One Generation To The Next Since 2005
After going potty, Michael turns to me and asks me this question-
"Mommy, did we move because I broke my old toilet?"
I have to leave the room I'm laughing so hard.
"Why are you laughing at me?"
"I'm not laughing at you Michael, that is just a very silly thing to say."
"Well, is that why we moved?"
"No Michael, you did nothing wrong. We moved because I wanted you have a big backyard to play in."
"Oh. Thank you, Mommy."
This poor child. I wonder what else he has been carrying around for months. No wonder he is having trouble at school.
I'm thinking instead of a college fund we should just put money away towards therapy.

OMG, that is too funny! The way a kid's mind works..

They do come up with the most amazing connections. He is not going to need therapy, at least no more than the rest of us!

Aw, poor little fella. He's probably been carrying that around for a while. It's amazing sometimes how differently they perceive events.
On the plus side, it looks like he has an internal locus of control! :)

He sounds like a sensitive soul and a sweet kid.
