My Weekend By The Numbers
1: rousing game of freeze tag that left me breathless. I am so clearly out of shape.
2: pounds of lasagna served at a dinner party for 6.
3: cups of gelato shared by 3 people. Michael wants to know why he was just introduced to this miracle food.
4: minutes of the Redskins game I could stomach. It is just pitiful at this point.
7: rounds of flashlight tag played Sunday night.
8: amount of times I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher in 2 days. Anyone else feel like they spend their life doing this?
10: hours spent outside on a gorgeous Sunday
12: blueberry muffins baked Sunday morning, 9 of which were consumed by 3 people throughout the day.
15: tiny, delicious, crab cakes inhaled by me at a housewarming party I attended.
18: loads of laundry. Because as much as I love my new house the washer and dryer are from the dawn of time. Maybe the first set ever made. And the washer holds a towel. Okay, maybe two towels. I was trying to convince Doug we needed front loaders, and then I heard about the little mold problem those things get, so I think I am good. Now I think I need a washer and dryer made in this decade. Hell, I'd settle for this century.
228: start to finish the number of pages I devoured of the book I read this weekend. The sequel of a book I loved years ago, it was almost as good as it's predecessor.
22 thousand: hours I fretted over Michael's school situation. 2 private evaluations, 2 different opinions. Gives whole new meaning to go with your gut.
25 thousand: hours of Scooby Doo watched. Probably not really, but sure felt like it.
What do your weekend numbers look like?

30 seconds... amount of time I could watch the Redskins.
and ps- yeah, don't get a front load washer- trust me.

I like my front loaders. Have had the current set for over ten years and just replaced them this weekend. All you have to do is run bleach through the washer about once a month.
Numbers:
5: tween girls in the house this weekend for my daughter's birthday party.
6: about how many hours they slept overnight, starting about 3:30am.
3: the number of hours I crashed on the couch after they all went home on Sunday afternoon.
About 6: the number of loads of laundry still lurking in the laundry room.
2: How many months I have until I have to do it all over again for the boy's birthday.

17: points my Lions were ahead in the first quarter
3: points they scored the remainder of the game
32: points the Seahawks scored
(and remember, this is the team whose lone win was over the Redskins)

Hey Jodi, I have a GE front load washer and dryer and love them. All I have to do is to leave the washer open for a few hours after I use it. Once it's dry you can close and no mold or smell. Bought it two years ago and only had the weird smell problem for the first month or two until I was told to leave the washer open.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our front loading washing machine (and remember I'm frugal). We've never had a problem with the mold, even though our model is supposed to be one of the worst. We just leave the door open and the lid up where the detergent goes whenever we're not using it. Speaking of which ...got to go unload it!
