It's My Blogiversary
I cannot believe it has been two years. Two years of this nonsense. At BlogHer DC we were told that after 2 years you should have all the traffic you will ever have. Gee I hope that's not true. And what a year it has been. Michael was hospitalized, I got Lupus, I wrote here, and here, and met so many real life bloggers I could never link to them all. (Sorry) Last year I did a best of Jodifur, but I'm doing something else this year. Leave a link to your favorite post of mine from this past year with a valid email in the comments and I'll enter you into a contest to win a Starbucks or itunes gift card. Your choice. Winner will be picked randomly on Friday. And thank you for reading. What a long strange year it has been.

I think you know my answer.http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-doug-and-i-almost-broke-up-over.html

Hmmmm...I don't know if I could pick just one although the angry one you just wrote still resonates with me. I get that sometimes you (we) just need to freaking stomp your feet and vent.http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-post-is-for-all-people-who-wanted.htmlAnd Happy Blogiversary!!! It has been a pleasure becoming your friend. xo

I liked this one: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/08/things-i-am-worried-about-now-that.htmlbecause who can open those little 100-calorie packs? Not 3-year-olds. I've also appreciated your recent lupus posts. You write about it with honesty and passion.Happy Blogiversary. It's been a pleasure getting to know you!

Just wanted to say Happy Blogiversary! No need to enter me in the contest.
Posted by: 11/16/2008 at 07:00 PM
Happy Blogiversary! I have been blogging for twice as long as you and have way fewer readers, so I hope that you don't get all of them by the end of year two! No need to enter me into the context, I have no iPod, so no use for the iTunes. Plus, then I'd have to actually make a decision on my favorite post, and that's just too much work for a Sunday morning. :-) Just wanted to wish you a happy blogiversary is all!

Well. I haven't been following you long, but this one is probably my favorite: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-post-is-for-all-people-who-wanted.html:)

This one is my favorite, because you were political without being Political, if you know what I mean. Solidly from your heart - http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/09/im-breaking-promise-to-myself.htmlI had no idea I've been blogging longer than you, though not by much - you have a lot more posts than I do, though. Happy Blogiversary, my friend.

I love you Jodi. Happy Blogiversary!I think it's fitting that I'm going with your and Doug's anniversary post:http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/09/7-years.htmlThe tenderness of your words, after going through something, really resonated with me. As a divorced kid and someone married about the same amount of time, I find marriages that work through probs the hottest, most romantic and honorable things around. Period.Mazel tov!

Happy Blogaversary! Mine (also 2 yrs of blogging!) will follow soon on Nov. 20...My favorite post from your blog would have to behttp://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-post-is-for-all-people-who-wanted.htmlI can somewhat relate: I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Graves Disease, 2 years ago. My husband has Reiters' syndrome -- which means he has all the worst symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis but insurance companies give us a hard time with treatment payments because they don't know what Reiters' disease is.

My favorite from this last year was my guest post! Just kidding! The one I can think of is the one you just wrote about being pissed off about the lupus. It was very real!Happy Blogoversary! I hope that stats thing isn't true, although my stats have been on the decline since my 2 year anniversary in October.

Congratulations for blogging for two years! It has been fun getting to know you and your family through your blogs! My favorite post is http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/08/my-most-favorite-date-ever.html. Our children are pretty close in age, and it inspired me to have a date day with my son. Our date was definitely a bonding experience and brought us closer together. So thank you for that!

I know I'm not going back very far, but this post hit home with me. I feel the same way you do, but you put it into words better than I would have been able to. I'm glad that history was made, for you and your health, for our country, and for the future of our children.http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/11/because-its-important.htmlKriskrissy111078@hotmail.com

Happy Blogiversary! I think that my favorite post of yours is the same as so many others...because it was so wonderful! Here's to lots more years of jodifur!

My favorite post is: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-doug-and-i-almost-broke-up-over.htmlAlthough, it was entirely too difficult for me to decide! Why I love this post: Because that is soooo my husband and I. HE is the most competitive person I know, and I could totally see us not talking for weeks over something like that!! I love your whole blog though!! Why must you make me choose?? :)
Posted by: 11/17/2008 at 10:34 PM
Happy Bloggiversary! I'm not sure I could pick a favorite post since you have written so many good ones.
Posted by: 11/18/2008 at 01:56 AM
favorite is difficult. but i did remember this one...when i found out you were into hair bands, and tried to be a teenager for a night-- drank too much, michael didn't sleep, and then the hangover meets personal training session just seems too perfect of a combo to make it one memorable post!!http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/02/i-think-its-universal-rule.htmlhappy blog-o-ver-sary.

as a new blogger and a relatively new reader of your blog, I got a kick out of this entry http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/10/top-ten-things-i-learned-at-blogher.htmlespecially the talk about Twitter possibly being *gasp* a fad, since I am always curious what to make of Twitter!

I have two faves: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2006/12/i-am-totally-slave-to-marketing.html (because I have similar habits)And this one: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/05/things-i-have-learned-by-watching-what.html (because I agree that even though I love COMFY I am so always WHAT NOT TO WEAR)

This was harder than I thought. I went back and read thru a bunch, and picked two. One because it made me laugh: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2007/09/its-never-too-early-for-harsh-realties.htmlAnd one because it resonated with how I feel about parenting too: http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2006/12/shut-up.htmlBut in reality the one freshest in my mind is the Dogwalkergate that I just read this week. I'm still thinking about that!

Happy blogiversary! I picked this post because it made me laugh when I first read it since I could identify with what you were going through because we were undertaking potty training at the same time and I could see my parents doing the same thing:http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2008/06/it-takes-awful-lot-to-bribe-this-kid.html

Wow, two years already? (And it's true that I'll never get past seven readers by now? Sob!) Congratulations!Your letters to the airline really stand out to me because you gave them what-for, but I know I shared this in Google Reader:http://jodifur.blogspot.com/2007/09/its-never-too-early-for-harsh-realties.html
